About Blanton Law Firm, P.A.

Legal Partners Since 1990 | Husband And Wife Since 1972

Blanton Law Firm, P.A., is a general practice in Salisbury, North Carolina. Our lawyers can represent you in matters involving criminal defense, traffic violations, family law, mediation, residential property, probate, wills and estates.

Established in 1990, our law firm focuses on the needs of the families that we represent. We believe that getting to know our clients and listening to their concerns are equally as important as resolving their matter in the best way possible. Having raised four children, our lawyers bring extensive life and legal experience to our practice.

Hon. Theodore (Ted) A. Blanton worked on the staff of the U.S. Senate prior to returning to Salisbury to practice law in the community he grew up in. He has over 30 years of legal experience, including eight years as an elected Rowan County District Judge. Having presided over or litigated thousands of cases, there are few legal challenges that could take him by surprise.

Mary Rutherford Blanton is one of only two N.C. board-certified specialists in family law in Rowan County. She is also a certified family financial mediator and a collaborative law attorney with more than 30 years of legal experience. Whether you mediate or litigate your family matter, she knows how to balance compassion and strength to protect your interests.
